The album was recorded by legendary thrash producer Bill Metoyer (Slayer, Dark Angel, D.R.I.).
The US vinyl edition is limited to 1000 red vinyl LPs, and come with a poster and with the track "Onslaught".
A Picture Disc LP has also been released by Cyclone Empire (Ger), limited to 500 copies.
Track 11 is an instrumental and features 1 minute of complete silence before the actual song begins.
Brazilian, European, US and Picture Disc LP versions of War Without End has the bonus track "Nightslasher" (03:32), a re-recording of an old song when the band was called Zombie.
On the Brazilian and US versions, it comes before "Epicus Maximus".
Japanese edition comes with the bonus track "Onslaught" (3:58), which replaces "Epicus Maximus" in the track listing.
