'Battle Metal' is a re-recorded version of 'The Heart of Turisas' from their first EP. An even earlier version of this track can also be found on their 1999 promo (also titled 'The Heart of Turisas').

"Katuman Kaiku" (track 12) means "The Echo of Lake Katuma" in Finnish. Lake Katumajärvi is located near the city of Hämeenlinna in Southern Finland.
