Originally released in a DVD case box containing a poster and a t-shirt, the demo was later re-released in plain jewelcase format in 2006 at a reduced price.
The sample at the beginning of the recording comes from the cult horror film "The Wicker Man."
The 2008 reissue features a bonus disc with a video for "A Beautiful Start to the End of the World". The "live" footage for this video was shot at Bloodstock Open Air in 2006. The band line-up for the performance (mimed to a backing tape at the time of recording) was Martin Walkyier and Grim Rita on vocals, Tristessa on bass, Simon Jones and Martin's son Rowan on guitars.
