"Catatonia" is a re-recording of a song from "Human Waste" and "Funeral Inception" was re-recorded during the "Souls to Deny" era and appears on the "Surgery of Impalement" single.

The intro sentence "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist." is from the 1995 movie The Usual Suspects.

In an interview conducted in late 2009 on diabolicalconquest.com, Mike Smith stated, I was never meant to play on Despise the Sun. Any talk of that is just a rumor.
