The very first Scorn Defeat pressing by DSP has a black & white drawing on the cover. The second pressing of DSP has a picture of Shinichi on the cover. Both are equally rare, as they have been published on DSP after the death of Euronymous, so they had slightly worse distribution. Both covers are featured on the right.

Both original DSP-versions of this album don't have the bonus track "The Seven Gates of Hell."
Additionally, DSP split the album into two sides: Side Revenge, which contained the first 4 songs, and Side Violence, which contained the last 3 songs.

Reissued in 2000 by Psychic Scream Entertainment with the bonus track "The Seven Gates of Hell" (Venom cover) and completely new artwork.

The vinyl version of the album "Scorn Defeat" (released by Vinyl Collectors) has the song Carnage (Mayhem cover) as a bonus track on side A. On side B, it has The Seven Gates of Hell (Venom cover) as a bonus track.

Reissued in 2009 with new artwork by Christopher Moyen on Enucleation Records (Socket29). The reissue includes previously-unreleased-on-CD material from the "Requiem for Fools" 7" and the Kawir split 7".

On July 19th, 2011, Deepsend Records re-released the album. It has been re-issued as a double CD, 8-panel digipak with a massive amount of bonus tracks never before collected together. Includes Scorn Defeat album, the Requiem for Fools EP, the split EP with Kawir, the Desolation demo, Tragedies demo, covers of Mayhem and Venom, and other unreleased tracks. Features cover artwork by Chris Moyen and layout by Mike Riddick.
