Based on the epic poetic masterpiece "The Divine Comedy" written by Italian author Dante Alighieri in the early 14th Century. The three main components of "The Divine Comedy" are Dante's descriptions of Hell, Purgatory and Paradise.

"Dante XXI" was originally titled "Dante 05", but being released in 2006 and not in 2005, the name was changed.

Digipack's Brazilian edition by Tratore has 2 bonus tracks:
16. Mindwar (Live) (03:01)
17. False (Demo) (03:15)

Japanese edition bonus track:
16. Screaming For Vengeance (Judas Priest cover) (03:31)
The track is also available on the Judas Priest tribute album "Hell Bent Forever - A Tribute To Judas Priest", which was released in 2008.

"Scratch the Surface" (Sick of It All cover) (02:35) is included on the tribute album Our Impact Will Be Felt: A Tribute to Sick of It All (2007).

"Convicted in Life (demo)" (03:17) was released in the March 2006 issue of Revolver magazine (on stands January 10) as part of their "Revolver Bootleg Series."

"I's Evil" (04:11) is another B-Side song from Dante XXI and was officially released on the band's Myspace page.

"Ostia" video was released on the Rock S'Cool III DVD (2008).

On a promo CD tracks "Lost (Intro)", "Limbo (Intro)", "Eunoé (Intro)" & "Premium Mobile (Intro)" are named "Intro #4", "Intro #2", "Intro #1" and respectively "Intro #3".

A very limited edition, released only in Brazil, came in a cardboard box containing the CD, a red t-shirt, a small box containing 30 postal cards, a guitar pick and a bass pick.

Videos were made for Convicted in Life and Ostia.
Jean Dolabella is the drummer in "Ostia" clip.

Two songs were posted on their Myspace page before the release date of the album: "Ostia" (Jan. 2006) and "Buried Words" (Feb. 2006).

Released on vinyl by Night of the Vinyl Dead Records in August 2012 including 12 pages booklet. Limited to 500 hand numbered copies.
Cat # NIGHT0139.
