Originally released on vinyl by Par records (top cover).
Subsequently released in europe by Music For Nations (bottom cover).
Later CD reissues have kept the MFN cover, sometimes replacing the original logo (seen on the right) with the later, more angular Savatage logo.
"Sirens" and "The Dungeons are Calling" were recorded together, in one single 24 hour session. Being too long for a single album, the band opted to keep some songs for a later EP release, which became "The Dungeons are Calling".
Released on CD in 1988 by Music for Nations with The Dungeons Are Calling EP.

2002 Metal Blade Silver Anniversary reissue bonus tracks:

11. Living on the Edge of Time [3:55]
On this version, there are 99 tracks, with 12-98 being short silences, and the final track being a 2:17 long hidden song. The first two bonus songs are from demos for Gutter Ballet.
Re-released in 2010 under the name "Sirens & The Dungeons Are Calling - The Complete Sessions" plus one bonus track (In the Dream - Acoustic version - re-recorded in 2010).
