Oskar Montelius, Rikard Sundén, Daniel Mullback and Daniel Mÿhr all played on this album but had left Sabaton before it was released.
The album is about the Swedish Empire. The well-known Swedish historian Bengt Liljegren helped the band with the lyrics on the theme.
