Giorgos Bokos is credited on the album, but didn't play on it.

The CD was recorded between July and October 2009 at Lunatech Studios in Katerini, Greece.

"Aealo" is the transcription of an ancient Greek word into the Latin alphabet. It means thrashing, catastrophe or destruction and reflects the musical and lyrical content of the album.

- Metal box set limited to 1000 copies with digipack edition, exclusive t-shirt (only in XL), belt buckle, leather bracelet and a car sticker.
- Double LP released with a limitation of 1,000 copies: 500 red & 500 blue. To be played at 45 rpm.
