The original Japanese edition CD came in a special slipcase, and included a Queensrÿche biography book and a set of postcards.
Also released as limited edition digipak in a slipcase (Cat.-No. 792806-0).
Videos were made for "Best I Can", "Empire", "Silent Lucidity" and "Another Rainy Night (Without You)".

The 20th anniversary release special case includes the above bonus tracks, 5 postcards, a poster and an additional bonus live CD taken from "The Hammersmith Odeon London, England November 15, 1990" concert with the following tracks listing:

5. The Thin Line
6. Jet City Woman
7. Roads to Madness
8. Silent Lucidity
9. Hand on Heart
10. Take Hold the Flame
The way the album title is printed on the cover closely resembles the logo of Queensrÿche's label at the time, EMI Records.
"Jet City Woman" is about Geoff Tate's then wife, an air hostess (hence the title).
