- Originally recorded only on cassette, it was sold only during Cynic's July/August 2010 Re-Traced / Re-Focused Live tour.
- Reissued by Season of Mist Records on March 23, 2012 repackaged as a Cynic compilation retitled as The Portal Tapes, now issued in limited edition digipak & vinyl editions with slightly altered artwork.
"Cosmos" features excerpts from the writings of Paramahansa Yogananda (1893-1952) narrated by his disciple Rachel Faye Wright aka Sri Daya Mata (1914-2010).
On a few Cynic "Focus" reissues that include these songs, the song "Circle" is titled "The Circle is Gone".
