This album was their first on a major label, and it was sonically a departure from previous albums which sounded more like industrial metal. Here, the style took a turn towards nu-metal. There is a noticeable change of vocal styles into a "clean" sound rather than the grunts and growls heard on previous albums.

The music of this album has been featured in many Playstation games, like the car battle game "Twisted Metal 3."

"W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G." stands for What You See Is What You Get.

Track 14 consists of samples which were used during the making of this album. They are free for other people to use in their own music.

A video was made for "Genius."
