Lyrics to "Le mort joyeux" and "Spleen" taken from the works of Charles Baudelaire, a famous 19th-century French poet.
The second press on Transcendental Creations released in September 2008 features a remastered version of track 6. Originally the plan was to remaster the entire album, but this is the only song that was felt to have been improved during the remaster.

Peste Noire ended their partnership with Transcendental Creations (La Mesnie Herlequin Amérique) in 2013. Since 2013 the band have denied Transcendental Creations the rights to repress any Peste Noire material and consider any further repressings of this album by Transcendental Creations as bootlegs.
