The front cover painting, "Methinks a Million Fools in a Choir", by the Irish artist Harry Clarke (1889-1931), was originally created to illustrate Goethe's Faust.
The still photograph is taken from the Mario Bava film La frusta e il corpo (1963).

Intro and outro speech are from Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers translation of The Key of Solomon the King.

Originally released on CD, black vinyl LP and limited red vinyl LP by Black Widow Records.

Re-released remastered on limited edition black (300 copies) and transparent green (200 copies) vinyl 2LP by Svart Records in 2013, including the "A Beginning" demo.

Recorded at Red House by Danil Venho between the 6th of November 2003 and the 2nd of December 2004.
Mixed by mr Venho and Orne at Red House on the 3rd and 4th of January 2005.
Mastered at Finnvox Studios on the 25th of May 2005 by Mika Jussila.
