Blackwater Park is named after a 70s hard rock band from Germany.

Special edition re-release in slipcase (2002), limited to 1000 copies, includes a 2nd disc with video for 'Harvest' and the two songs:
1. Still Day Beneath The Sun (4:34)
2. Patterns In The Ivy II (4:12)
The bonus songs are slower, mostly acoustic, and have singing vocals. The extra tracks that appear on this bonus disc are actually the tracks from the vinyl only single 'Still Day Beneath the Sun'. The video is basically footage of the band at the studio.

Re-released in 2010 as a digibook, dubbed "Legacy Edition", and comes with the album and a bonus track, "The Leper Affinity" (Live), which was recorded during a European tour. There's also a DVD in the package containing the album in 5.0 mix as well as a documentary. This edition also contains new artwork (picture: featured on the right) and new liner notes.
