"Mr. Softee Theme" was exclusive on the LP and CD versions, while the cassette version featured both the "Mr. Softee Theme" and "Lesbians". The cassette was the only version to feature "Lesbians".

The song "Sin" was originally written while Dan Lilker was in Anthrax. (It is featured as "You're Boneless" on the bootleg of the 10 April 1982 show Anthrax did at My Father's Place, Roslyn, Long Island, NY.)

CD versions include The Plague. 2008 "radioactive glow" edition comes in a slipcase and includes more bonus tracks:
20. Game Over (live) [2:29]
21. Nightmares (live) [3:56]
22. Butt Fuck (live) [3:51]
23. My America (live) [0:38]
24. Hang the Pope (live) [0:49]
