The song "The Kinslayer" is about the Columbine High School massacre (20 April 1999)
Spinefarm released a limited edition (2000 copies, first pressing) with a 3D cover. This version was only available in Finland and included "Sleepwalker" as a bonus track.
XIII Bis Records (France) re-released the album in 2001 as part of a limited box set called "Wish Box" (cat.-no. 157812 M 782), which contains an autographed and enhanced CD, a key holder and a Nightwish calendar.
The 2004 digipack CD re-release by Spinefarm Records includes the bonus track "Sleepwalker" (2:56). In that version, track "FantasMic" is also bit longer, 08:27. This difference, however, just consists of some added seconds of silence.
Within 2 hours of its release in Finland, the album reached gold status!
