"Mental Decay" is partially based on a metal-ised version of Modest Mussorgski's "A Night on Bald Mountain".
Released by New Renaissance Records on MC (cat. # NRC-15), LP, comes on black vinyl, with printed insert, lyrics included (cat. # NRR-15) and CD (cat. # NRCD-15).
In 1998 re-released by Red Stream, Inc. on CD (cat. # RSR-0124) with slightly different artwork (on photo).
In 2002 released by Red Stream Inc. as PIC-LP (cat. # RSR-0124 PLP), limited to 1000 copies (Jenna Jameson pictured on side B).
In 2004 released by From Beyond Productions (Holland) as LP (cat. # FBP-021), comes on green vinyl, limited to 666 copies.
In 2005 released in Russia by CD-Maximum on CD (cat. # CDM 1004-2058).
In 2007 released in China by AreaDeath Productions as 2CD "Season Of The Dead 1983-1987" (cat. # ADP012) with 4 bonus tracks from Unreleased 7" EP, 1986 and Bonus CD with 5 Demos (19 tracks), limited to 1000 copies, includes a 16-page booklet with liner notes, interview, lyrics and band pictures. (for tracklist see "1983-1987 - 1994-1998" Boxed Set).
Reissues of this album combine the first two tracks, "Season of the Dead" and "Forbidden Pleasure", as one.
