Walter Trachsler played rhythm guitar on this album but was not credited. According to Mike Borders, Robby Goodwin wrote the song "Biohazard" but was not credited.

"Corpsegrinder" is not a Death cover. It was written by Rick Rozz when he was in Death and then rerecorded it with Massacre.

A music video was made for the song "Chamber of Ages".

The initial vinyl release came with a bonus single Provoked Accurser.

Reissued by Earache on May 23rd 2000 with different cover artwork and the Inhuman Condition EP as bonus tracks.

The 2000 reissue also contains an error listing "Cryptic Realms" as "Cryptic Remains".
