There is a misprinted version with "45 R.P.M." printed on the vinyl labels.
"Defender" was recorded during the "Into Glory Ride" sessions, but left off the album due to time constraints.
A rearranged version of the song was recorded for "Fighting the World" in 1987, featuring the original narration by Orson Welles.
