"Home Sweet Home" was a huge hit for Motley Crue, and also showed the viability of "power ballads" to MTV, which was starting to definitely capitalize on 80s metal as a trend.
Louder than Hell was an old demo and setlist staple called Hotter than Hell at one point. Save Our Souls was at one point Running Wild in the Night, and Tonight (We Need a Lover) was Black Widow. These tracks were demoed for Shout at the Devil in late 1982.
"Smokin' in the Boys Room" was originally written by Michael "Cub" Koda and Michel Lutz, and originally performed by Brownsville Station.
