"Re-Recorded First Demo" was recorded only to have new vocalist Vince Neil as part of the band, since Mötley Crüe's very first demo was recorded with O'Dean on vocals.

At the time, Neil barely knew the songs so he had to read the lyrics off paper as he sang; the sounds of paper rustling as he flips through lyrics pages can actually be heard in these recordings.

Another unreleased song entitled "Nobody Knows What It's Like to Be Lonely" was also recorded during this session. It was later rediscovered by Nikki Sixx around April, 2000 and it was later made available as an audio extra on the 2001 DVD Lewd, Crüed & Tattooed.
