The first title of this album was "Food for Thought" but it was changed to "Piece of Mind".
Videos were made for the songs "Flight of Icarus" and "The Trooper."
This album was also released as a Picture Disc (with different cover) only for USA and with the bonus track "Cross Eyed Mary".
The 1995 reissue comes with a bonus cd with the following track list:
01 - I've Got the Fire
02 - Cross Eyed Mary
The 1998 remaster version contains a special enhanced CD-ROM multimedia section with videos, exclusive photo galleries, biographies, internet links plus a deluxe 24 page colour booklet with full lyrics, Eddie art and photos.
