Recorded at Elfo Studio, Piacenza, Italy, between 19th of January & 10th of February 2004.

Original cover artwork by Herr Morbid.

The cover shown on the right wasn't the original, as the label decided the original (shown on the left) was too "dark".

The interludes "Malus Vivendi Part I-III" were composed by Nordvargr.

The band also recorded a cover of the Katatonia song "Nowhere" during these sessions, which can be found on the Katatonia tribute 2CD set "December Songs".
