Ensiferum's 3rd demo that got the band signed to Spinefarm Records.
'Guardians of Fate' was recorded in Jari Mäenpää's home with a drum machine being used.
The entire demo was later re-released on the '1997-1999' demo compilation.
This demo is also refered to as 'Demo III'.
All songs from this demo were re-recorded and used on the band's 1st full lenght 'Ensiferum' in 2001.
