Lyrics of Ukrainian poet Taras Schevchenko were used on this album (tracks 2, 3, 4, 6 - poem "Гайдамаки", track 5 - "Ой чого ти почорнiло...")

Track 7 ("Song of Sich Destruction") is a recording of a traditional Ukrainian folk song performed by the folk-bandura player Igor Rachok.

Vinyl with a different cover released in 2005 by Faustian Distribution and Northern Heritage Records.
Also released as a picture-disc vinyl LP version with different artwork in 2008 by Eisenwald Tonschmiede, packaged in a wood-effect cardboard cover.

Re-released with different artwork by Season of Mist in January 2010 (shown below on the right).
