"The Chronicles of Love, Hate and Sorrow" is a metal opera based on the novel "Die Leiden des jungen Werther" ("The Sorrows of Young Werther") by the German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

All music and lyrics composed and written by Axel "Ironfinger" Ritt and Nicolaj Ruhnow except tracks 3, 9, 10 and 11 composed and written by Axel "Ironfinger" Ritt, Erdmann "Erdi" Lange and Nicolaj Ruhnow. Lyrical concept created and written by Nicolaj Ruhnow.

Recorded, edited and mixed for Humbucker Music GmbH from August 2007 to September 2008 at Meadow Recording Studios, Weiterstadt, Germany.
Mastered at Mastertouch, Darmstadt, Germany.
All backing vocals by the Amoebas Brothers.
