Recorded at Hellspawn / Unisound Studios between the 17th and 30th of March 1995.

Initial vinyl versions were LP in black vinyl and PicLP, the LP in blue vinyl came in January 1996

European first press CD came as a Digipak fold out with a sticker on the front.

The Japanese edition features the bonus track 5. The Feathers Fell, in between Where Dead Angels Lie and Retribution - Storm of the Light's Bane.

Re-released by Nuclear Blast in 2002 as digipack with the EP "Where Dead Angels Lie" as bonus tracks.
