Silver album for total sales 60,000 in November 1, 1975.

First Deep Purple compilation album released by their own record label Purple Records. Recorded in 1969 - 1972. 1, 2, 4 & 6 are original studio versions from original albums. Tracks 3, 7 & 8 are live from "Made in Japan" live album (1972). "Black Night" is also live, and is lated released on as a bonus track on the re-releases of "Made in Japan", however until this compilation it hadn't been released yet as live version.
