Fenriz handled all instruments on this album, as confirmed in at least two interviews.

"Snø Og Granskog" is an old poem by Tarjei Vesaas.

"Panzerfaust" is dedicated to Satyr of Satyricon.

"Quintessence" features parts identical to Storm's "Noregsgard".

Reissued in the U.S. through The End Records.

Re-released as coloured gatefold vinyl through Back on Black in January 2010.

CD re-release by Peaceville in October 2010 as double disc edition.

Disc 2:
1. Complete album with Fenriz commentary

English translations:
1. A Wind of Sorrow
4. His Last Winter
7. Snow and Spruce Forest (Outro).

12" LP re-released by Peaceville Records in 2011. It is numbered and limited to 2000 copies and comes on 180gsm vinyl. The heavyweight sleeve and printed inner features new liner notes from Fenriz and the lyrics with a protective PVC sleeve.
