On the US promo edition of the album, the song "Black Ark" is named "Dark Ark" and "Must Kill" is shorter, omitting the outro.

French limited edition CD comes in a black jewel case (Cat. # RR 7955-2) with the same tracklist as the regular pressing.

Two videos for "Sanctuary" have been made, one of which is a censored version of the other. Both of these can be found on the band's websites.

On January 29, 2008 Roadrunner Records' website made the tracks "Inflikted" and "Sanctuary" available for free download, using the erroneous bandname 'The Cavalera Conspiracy'.

The song "Inflikted" was supposed to be included on Soulfly's sixth studio album "Conquer". A demo version (Max on guitars and vocals, his son Igor on bass and using a drum machine & a 4-track recorder) was released digitally through Soulfly's website on May 1st, 2007 as "Inflikted (After the Slaughter)".

Produced by Max Cavalera.
Co-produced by Logan Mader for Dirty Icon Productions.
Recorded, mixed and mastered by Logan Mader at Undercity Studios, North Hollywood, California in July 2007.
