"Epstle 81" (Märk hur vår skugga), was written by Swedish poet/musician Carl Michael Bellman (1740 - 1795).
"Incarnation of Evil" is actually a reworked version of the old Nemesis track "Black Messiah."
A video was made for "Mirror Mirror".
CD bonus track:
9. Black Sabbath Medley [06:16] music & lyrics by Osbourne, Iommi, Butler, Ward.
The Black Sabbath medley consists of: "Symptom of the Universe", "Sweet Leaf", "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath", "Into the Void", "Electric Funeral", "Supernaut", and "Black Sabbath", in that order.
Remastered version re-released by Powerline Records in 2001 as 2CD in a slipcase.
Enhanced bonus CD included the video clip for "Mirror Mirror".
Tracklist of the bonus CD :
1. Mirror Mirror [live] (05:20)
2. The Bells of Acheron [live] (05:01)
3. Bearer of Pain [live] (06:12)
4. A Cry From the Crypt [live] (03:36)
5. [interview] (23:51).
The cover is a portion of "Journey of Life: Youth" (1842) by the American painter Thomas Cole.
The band is not happy with the album mix, and they place the blame on their (then) record label rush-producing the LP to coincide with a US tour.
Recorded at Nacka Recording House, August 1988.
Mixed at Montezuma Recording.
Mastered at Polar Studios.
