The cover artwork is an 1840 painting by Eugène Delacroix titled "Entry of the Crusaders into Constantinople".

The US reissue includes "Crown of Life" and "Lament" as bonus tracks. Some versions of the US reissue had these songs printed on the back, but not pressed on the CD.

Rereleased in 2006 as a picture disc by Painkiller Records, limited to 1000 copies. Cat. # PKR-058
