A music video was made for "TV Crimes."

Originally Tony Martin and Cozy Powell were going to be the musicians on this album. However, Tony Martin was fired over the phone to bring back Ronnie James Dio, and Cozy Powell (although he did record in the sessions) broke his hip while he was riding a horse, and had to be replaced by Vinny Appice, leaving as a result the reunion of the lineup for the album "Mob Rules" (1981).

In an interview with Tony Martin in January 2022, he confirms that he actually recorded some demos for this album.

There is a discussion about a song that is said to have been recorded in the sessions called "Raising Hell". Since its leak, it was named as a Black Sabbath song across the internet, but Tony Martin claimed in an interview that the song was actually recorded when he was in Cozy Powell's Hammer. He also claimed that Powell gave him a box of cassettes of various drum tracks recorded by Powell for future use by Martin when required, and the same drum track is the one that later appeared on the version of "Raising Hell" made by Tony Martin that appears on his album "Scream" (2005).

An earlier version of "Time Machine" was written specifically for the "Wayne's World" soundtrack, and recorded well before the rest of the album, at a different session with producer Leif Mases (famous for producing ABBA). The track was re-recorded for the album along with the rest of the songs.

A bootleg called "Dehumanizer Rehearsals" was distributed in 2009 by a Japanese record label, which contains demos and rehearsals of the album with Cozy Powell on drums, and of which stand out unreleased songs such as "Bad Blood" and "The Next Time" (this last having 5 takes).

Precisely, "Bad Blood" was later used by Dio taking various harmonies, melodies and lyrics for the song "Death by Love" from his album "Master of the Moon" (2004).
