"Antikythera" is a Greek island, where an ancient artefact, "The Antikythera Mechanism" was found. The album is themed after it, with the cover depicting a reconstructed version of it, and the song titles referencing its story and mythology.

Recording information:

Drums recorded in Stockholm, Sweden during January and February 2013.
Bass, additional guitars and saxophone recorded at Rogue Music Studio, Gothenburg, Sweden during March 2013.
